Ingredients:
- 2 lb roast (or 1-1 1/2 lb, adjusted as needed)
- 1/2 package of dry Au Jus mix
- 1/2 package of Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing mix
- 1/2 stick of butter
- Onions (optional)
- Mushrooms (optional)
- 1 potato (optional, for serving)
Instructions:
- Place the roast in the bottom of the baby crock.
- Sprinkle the dry Au Jus mix and Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing mix on top of the roast.
- Add onions and mushrooms on top, if desired.
- Place 1/2 stick of butter on top of the roast.
- Cook on low for 4 hours. If adding a potato, place it in the crock as well.
- Do not add any additional liquid; the roast will make its own.
- Once done, use the liquid to make gravy, and serve the roast topped with onions, mushrooms, and gravy.
