Ingredients :
- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 jalapeño peppers, diced (seeds
- removed for less heat)
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions :
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
- Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
- Add the ground beef to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spatula.
- Cook until browned and fully cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- Drain any excess fat if necessary.
- Incorporate the diced jalapeños and cherry tomatoes into the skillet. Sprinkle in the smoked paprika, dried oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Stir everything together and let it cook for another 3-4 minutes until the tomatoes soften.
- Reduce the heat to low and mix in the softened cream cheese until well combined and creamy. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese on top and cover the skillet for a couple of minutes until the cheese is melted.
