Small cheese balls with bacon and cheddar

Ingredients : 

  • 8 ounces of cream cheese that has been left out to soften.
  • 1 cup of grated strong cheddar cheese
  • 6 pieces of bacon, cooked and broken into small pieces.
  • 1 tablespoon of chopped fresh chives
  • Half a teaspoon of garlic powder.
  • 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1/2 cup of pecans, chopped into small pieces.

Instructions :

  1. In a big bowl, mix together the soft cream cheese, cheddar cheese, bacon pieces, chives, garlic powder, and black pepper.
  2. Stir everything together until all ingredients are mixed well and the mixture is smooth.
  3. Shape the cheese mixture into small, bite-sized balls using your hands.
  4. Cover each ball with the chopped pecans by rolling them in the nuts until they are evenly coated.
  5. Put the cheese balls covered in coating on a plate or tray.
  6. Put the cheese balls in the fridge for at least an hour before serving so they can become firm.
