Ingredients :
- 4 boneless pork chops
- 4 tablespoons butter, divided
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups sliced potatoes (thin)
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme
Instructions :
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish.
- In a skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Season pork chops with paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook the pork chops for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the remaining butter and garlic. Sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- In a greased baking dish, layer the sliced potatoes. Pour heavy cream over them and sprinkle with salt, pepper, and mozzarella cheese.
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until potatoes are tender and cheese is golden.
- Serve the creamy potato bake with the sizzling garlic butter pork chops, garnished with fresh thyme.
