Ingredients:
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup powdered milk
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon instant yeast
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup warm water (110-115°F)
- 2 cans (12 oz) tomato paste
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary
- 1 lb ground chuck
- 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 475°F. Spray a large baking sheet with non-stick cooking spray and line it with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, powdered milk, sugar, salt, and instant yeast.
- In a separate bowl, mix the vegetable oil and warm water. Gradually add the liquid mixture to the dry ingredients, stirring with a wooden spoon until a slightly wet dough forms. Do not overmix.
- Transfer the dough to the prepared baking sheet, spreading it evenly to cover the entire pan. Bake for 8-10 minutes.
- While the crust is baking, prepare the pizza sauce. In a medium bowl, combine the tomato paste, minced garlic, water, olive oil, salt, black pepper, oregano, basil, and dried rosemary. Stir until well combined. (source: Ineskohl.info)
- In a skillet, cook the ground chuck over medium heat until browned and crumbled. Season with salt and pepper to taste, then drain any excess grease.
- Remove the crust from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the crust, followed by the cooked ground chuck.
- Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the meat, covering the entire pizza.
- Place the pizza back in the oven for an additional 8-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove the pizza from the oven and let it stand for at least 5 minutes before cutting it into squares. Enjoy your homemade school-style pizza!
