Ingredients :
- 1 cup whole milk (or milk of your choice)
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions :
- In a saucepan, combine the sugar, cornstarch, and salt.
- Add the milk and heavy cream, whisking constantly to avoid lumps.
- Cook over medium heat, whisking until the mixture thickens and begins to bubble.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
- Pour into serving dishes and refrigerate for 30 minutes (optional) before serving.
