Peach Cobbler Pound Cake

Ingredients :

  • 1 1/2 cups butter
  • 5 eggs 
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3 cups granulated sugar
  • zest of 1 lemon
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup confectioners sugar
  • 1 lb frozen sliced peaches
  • 1 tbsp milk
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions :

Cake :

  1. Preheat the oven to 325 Fahrenheit
  2. In a medium-sized bowl, add butter, and sugar. Using an electric mixer, mix the ingredients well with each other. While mixing, add five eggs one at a time.
  3. Add vanilla extract. Using a large spoon, mix the ingredients together.

  5. Add sour cream, while mixing.
  6. Add the zest of 1 lemon and frozen sliced peaches, and use a spoon to mix the ingredients.
  7. Grease and flour a bundt pan.
  8. Put the cake mixture in the bundt pan and set it in the oven for an hour and ten minutes
  9. Remove the cake from the oven, and leave it to cool down.
  10. Decorate the cake, Drizzle the cake on the top.

Glaze :

Mix the milk and vanilla sugar well.
