Ingredients :
- For the Steak:
- 1 lb sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
Salt & black pepper, to taste - For the Cheesy Herb Pasta:
- 12 oz fettuccine or pasta of choice
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
Salt & black pepper, to taste - 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions :
- Cook the Pasta:
Boil fettuccine in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving 1/2 cup of pasta water. - Prepare the Steak:
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season steak pieces with salt & pepper then sear for 2-3 minutes per side until browned. Remove and set aside. - Make Garlic Butter:
Reduce heat to medium. Melt butter in the skillet, then sauté garlic for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Toss the steak in the garlic butter, then remove and set aside. - Prepare the Sauce:
In another skillet, melt butter and olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning , whisking until smooth. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper . - Combine Pasta and Sauce:
Toss the cooked pasta in the sauce until evenly coated. Add reserved pasta water to adjust consistency, if needed.Serve:
- Plate the cheesy herb pasta and top with garlic butter steak pieces . Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
