Ingredients :
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3/4 cup warm water (adjust as needed)
Instructions :
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt, and chopped parsley. Mix until well combined.
- Create a well in the center of the dry ingredients and add the olive oil and warm water. Stir until the dough begins to come together.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes, or until smooth and elastic. If the dough is too sticky, add a little more flour as needed.
- Divide the dough into 6 equal portions and shape each into a ball. Cover with a kitchen towel and let rest for 20-30 minutes.
- Preheat a skillet or frying pan over medium heat. Roll out each dough ball into a circle about 1/4-inch thick.
- Place the rolled-out flatbread onto the hot skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until lightly browned and cooked through. Repeat with the remaining dough.
- Serve warm, drizzled with olive oil or topped with your favorite dips.
