- 2 lbs lean ground beef
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of
- mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 packet (1 oz) Italian dressing mix
- 7 cups frozen tater tots
Instructions :
- Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Brown the beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain any excess fat.
- Mix the creamy sauce: In a separate bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, cream of mushroom soup, beef broth, melted butter, and Italian dressing mix. Stir until smooth and well combined.
- Assembling the Casserole: Once the beef is cooked and the sauce is mixed, transfer the beef into the greased baking dish. Pour the creamy sauce over the beef and gently stir it together.
- Adding Tater Tots as a Topping: Top the casserole with a generous layer of frozen tater tots, making sure to cover the entire surface evenly. This will ensure you get a crispy, golden topping after baking.
