Ingredients:
- 1 lb pork belly, skin on
- 1 tablespoon sea salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 teaspoons smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
Directions:
1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. Score the skin of the pork belly with sharp knife, making sure not to cut into the meat.
3. Mix salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder together and rub it all over the pork belly.
4. Place the pork belly on a rack in a baking dish, skin-side up.
5. Roast in the oven for about 50 minutes or until the skin is crispy.
6. In a small bowl, combine honey and soy sauce. Brush this mixture over the pork belly during the last 10 minutes of cooking to create a glaze.
7. Remove from oven, let rest for 10 minutes, and then cut into bite-sized pieces.
