Creamy Chicken and Noodles Crockpot Delight

Ingredients :

  • 2 cans of cream of chicken soup
  • 2 cans of chicken broth (15 oz each)
  • 1 stick of butter or margarine
  • 1 lb chicken breasts (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 package of frozen egg noodles (24 oz), I used Reames
  • 1 packet of chicken gravy mix
  • Fresh ground pepper, to taste
  • Fresh carrots and celery (optional)

Instructions :

  1. In the crockpot, place the chicken breasts on the bottom. Sprinkle the gravy packet over the chicken.
  2. Pour the chicken broth and cream of chicken soup on top, then add the stick of butter and season with pepper to taste.
  3. Cook on low for 4-5 hours.
  4. Remove the chicken, shred it, and return it to the crockpot.
  5. Add the frozen egg noodles and cook for an additional 2 hours. During the last 2 hours, add fresh carrots and celery if desired. Stir every 30 minutes until done.
