Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup of softened unsalted butter (equivalent to 1 stick)
- Tres cuartos de azúcar granulada.
- Two big eggs
- One teaspoon of vanilla extract.
- 2 cups of regular flour
- Use two teaspoons of baking powder.
- Half a teaspoon of soda.
- Add a small amount of salt, about a quarter of a teaspoon.
- 1 cup of buttermilk
- 1 1/2 cups of fresh blueberries (if frozen, do not thaw).
Instructions :
- Heat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Put oil and flour on a 9-inch circular cake pan or cover it with parchment paper.
- In a big bowl, mix soft butter with sugar until it becomes light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one by one and mix well after each one. Then, stir in the vanilla extract until everything is well combined.
- In another bowl, mix together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Bake in a hot oven for 35 to 40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean and the top is golden brown.
- Let the food cool in the pan for about ten minutes. Then, place it on a wire rack until it is completely cool. After that, you can slice it and serve.
