Baked Cabbage Steaks

Ingredients :

  • 1 head of cabbage
  • Olive oil
  • Garlic salt
  • Black pepper

Instructions : 

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Prepare Cabbage:
    • Wash the cabbage and remove the outer leaves.
    • Trim the stem.
    • Cut the cabbage into 1 to 1 1/2 inch thick steaks.
  3. Season:
    • Brush both sides of each cabbage steak with olive oil.
    • Season both sides generously with garlic salt and black pepper.
  4. Bake:
    • Place the cabbage steaks on a baking sheet.
    • Bake for 30 to 40 minutes, or until the edges begin to brown. For a more browned edge, bake for the full 40 minutes.
  5. Serve: Remove from oven and serve hot.
