Ingredients :
- 1 head of cabbage
- Olive oil
- Garlic salt
- Black pepper
Instructions :
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Prepare Cabbage:
- Wash the cabbage and remove the outer leaves.
- Trim the stem.
- Cut the cabbage into 1 to 1 1/2 inch thick steaks.
- Season:
- Brush both sides of each cabbage steak with olive oil.
- Season both sides generously with garlic salt and black pepper.
- Bake:
- Place the cabbage steaks on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 30 to 40 minutes, or until the edges begin to brown. For a more browned edge, bake for the full 40 minutes.
- Serve: Remove from oven and serve hot.
