Ingredients :
For the Rice Krispies Base:
- 4 cups Rice Krispies cereal
- 3 cups mini marshmallows
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 cup fresh blueberries
For the Vanilla Glaze:
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions :
- In a large pot, melt the unsalted butter over medium-low heat.
- Add the mini marshmallows and stir continuously until fully melted and smooth.
- Remove the pot from the heat and gently fold in the Rice Krispies cereal, ensuring all the cereal is evenly coated.
- Carefully fold in the fresh blueberries, distributing them throughout the mixture. Be gentle to avoid crushing the berries.
- Lightly grease a 9×9-inch pan or line it with parchment paper.
- Press the Rice Krispies mixture into the pan using a greased spatula or your hands. Be sure to press gently to avoid squishing the blueberries.
- Set the pan aside and let the mixture cool and firm up for about 30 minutes.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth and pourable. If the glaze is too thick, add more milk, one teaspoon at a time.
- Drizzle the vanilla glaze over the cooled Rice Krispies.
- Let the glaze set for about 10 minutes before cutting into squares.
