Ingredients :
- For the Sandwich:
- 4 slices of thick-cut bacon
- 2 slices of bread (toasted)
- 4-6 slices of ripe tomato
- 4-5 leaves of crisp lettuce (romaine or iceberg)
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
Instructions :
- Cook the Bacon:
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy. Drain on paper towels.
- Toast the Bread:
- Toast the slices of bread until golden brown.
Assemble the Sandwich: - Spread 1 tbsp of mayonnaise on each slice of toast.
Layer the lettuce, tomato slices, and bacon on one slice of toast. - Season the tomatoes with a pinch of salt and black pepper.
Finish and Serve: - Top with the second slice of toasted bread.
- Cut the sandwich in half and serve immediately.
