Cheesy Kielbasa Hashbrown Casserole

Ingredients:

  • 1 (32 oz) bag of frozen hashbrowns
  • 1 kielbasa, diced
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 (10 oz) can of cream of mushroom or cream of chicken soup
  • Salt, pepper, minced garlic, and onion powder (optional)
  • Additional 1/2 cup cheddar cheese for topping

Instructions :

  1. In a greased slow cooker, layer the hashbrowns, diced kielbasa, onion, and 2 cups of cheddar cheese.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix together the soup, milk, and sour cream. Add salt, pepper, minced garlic, and onion powder to taste if desired.
  3. Pour the soup mixture over the ingredients in the slow cooker.
  4. Sprinkle an additional 1/2 cup of cheddar cheese on top.
  5. Cook on low for 6 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  6. Serve with a salad or roasted veggies for a complete meal. For an indulgent option, add Texas garlic toast on the side.
