Ingredients :
- 1 lb ground beef, 80% or 90% lean
- 1/2 large green bell pepper, diced
- 1/2 large yellow onion, diced
- 8 ounces brown mushrooms, minced
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- 1/2 tsp salt & pepper
- 6 hamburger buns briocheĀ
- 8 oz provolone cheese sliced
- 1 cup beef broth slurry
Instructions :
- Add lean ground beef to an iron skillet over heat. Keep stirring the ground beef until it turns brown. Remove the ground beef from the skillet and set it aside.
- In the same skillet over medium heat, melt the butter, add diced onion, diced green bell pepper, mushrooms, and the previously cooked ground beef. mix all ingredients
- Add salt, pepper, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, and beef broth slurry. mix all ingredients.
- Add provolone cheese and continue mixing until the cheese melts.
- Use a large spoon to put the filling on top of the hamburger buns.
- Serve and enjoy.
