Crockpot Chicken and stuffing

Ingredients :

  • 4 chicken breasts (1.5 pounds), seasoned with salt and pepper
  • 225 grams stovetop stuffing mix (1 box)
  • 1 can (10.75 oz) condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 227 grams sour cream (8 oz)
  • 1/2 cup reduced sodium chicken broth

Instructions :

  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides. Place them in the slow cooker.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the stuffing mix, sour cream, and cream of chicken soup until well combined. Spread the stuffing mixture evenly over the top of the chicken.
  3. Cover and cook on low heat for 6-7 hours until the chicken is cooked through and tender. (source: Ineskohl.info)
  4. Check the stuffing towards the end of the cooking time. If it seems dry, add some of the chicken broth as needed.
  5. Serve the chicken topped with the stuffing mix. Enjoy!
