- 1-2 tsp Old Bay Seasoning + 2 tsp (for the shrimp)
- 1/4 tsp Garlic Powder
- 2 tbsp Fresh Dill, chopped + 2 tsp (for garnish)
- Salt and Pepper to taste
Instructions:
Perfect Boiled Eggs:
- Place the eggs gently in a shallow pot.
- Fill the pot with water, making sure the eggs are fully covered.
- Bring the water to a boil, then turn off the heat and cover the pot. Let the eggs sit for 15-20 minutes.
Cajun Egg Filling:
- Peel the boiled eggs and slice them in half. Remove the yolks and place them in a medium-sized bowl. Arrange the egg whites on paper towels to dry.
- In the bowl with the egg yolks, add mayonnaise, hot sauce, sweet relish, 1-2 tsp Old Bay Seasoning, and garlic powder. Taste after adding each ingredient and adjust the seasoning to your preference.
- Mix until the yolk mixture is creamy. Cover and set aside.
Cajun Shrimp:
- Heat a medium-sized pan over medium-high heat and add the cooking oil.
- Pat the shrimp dry with a paper towel. Sprinkle 2 tsp of Old Bay Seasoning over the shrimp and stir until they are well coated.
- Sauté the shrimp until they are fully cooked and slightly charred. Halfway through cooking, add about 1 tsp of lemon juice to the shrimp.
Plating Cajun Shrimp Deviled Eggs:
- Scoop the egg yolk mixture evenly into the egg white halves.
- Top each filled egg white with one Cajun shrimp.
- Garnish with a sprinkle of paprika and fresh dill.
- Serve and enjoy!
