This is not a healthy dish, although it is delicious. For people who don’t like them, onions are optional. I make it for my family a lot and the restaurant I work at changed its recipe to this !
Ingredients :
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 2 large potatoes, cut into 1/2 inch cubes
- ½ onion diced
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- 1 1/2 tablespoons butter
Instructions :
- Melt 4 1/2 tablespoons butter in a large saucepan over medium to high heat. Cooking potatoes, stri, to golden brown, 10 to 15 min .
- Meantime, melt rest 1 1/2 tsp butter in other skillet on heat.
- Cooking and stirring onion & garlic until softened, for 5 min .
- Reduce heat to medium-low and continue to cook until garlic is lightly browned, another 5 to 10 minutes.
- Stir the onion mixture with the potatoes.
- Cook and stir the potatoes and onions until the potatoes are soft, another 10 minutes.
- Enjoy!
